Limonero Vacation Terms and Conditions

Check-in and Check-out Times
In-person Check-in – from 15:00 till 22:00 o’clock
Self Check-in – from 15:00 o’clock
Check-out – before 11:00 o’clock
Late Check-in
If the property does not have an option for self check-in, a check-in after 22:00 o’clock must be requested 24 hours prior to arrival. Late check-in charges starting at €20,- apply. A late check-in charge will apply if guests have not checked in after 22:30 o'clock.
Late Check-out
Late check-out is available upon availability and must be requested 24 hours prior to departure. Late check-out charges of €50,- may apply. A late check-out charge will apply if guests have not checked out by 11:15 o'clock.
Photo Identity
All guests are requested to show a government-approved photo identity card and a valid passport or visa for foreign nationals upon arrival.
Age Requirement
All guests must be 18 years or older to make guest reservations and be accommodated at the property. Guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
Electronic Registration Travellers
To comply with the Spanish legislation ‘Real Decreto 933/2021 ’, all travellers are required to complete an electronic registration form through a platform called ‘Chekin ’ in which we may ask to upload an image of their government-approved identity card. In order for us to comply with the law, refusal to complete the form will result in the denial of a stay at our property.
All personal data collected will be processed and stored in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament. For adults travelling with children under the age of 16, we must obtain explicit consent for the processing of their personal data. The necessary physical, business and technical security measures are taken to avoid its alteration, loss, unauthorised treatment or access. We have to keep your personal data for the legal retention period of 3 years. After that, we destroy it unless required by law.
Parents travelling with children under the age of 16 are required to give explicit consent for the processing of their personal data.
Payment Policy
In case of booking through the Limonero Vacation website: 50% of the Reservation Price is due at the time of booking. The remaining 50% balance is due 10 days before arrival.
Cancellations and Amendments
In case of booking through the Limonero Vacation website: When cancelled or modified 10 days before arrival or earlier, 100% of paid prepayments will be refunded. When cancelled after, 0% of paid prepayments will be refunded.
No Show Policy
In the event of a no show, the full amount of the reservation will be withheld as a cancellation penalty.
Payment Authorization
All reservations must be paid before check-in. Cash payments are not allowed for reservation purposes.
In case of booking through Vrbo or the Limonero Vacation website: One day before your arrival date, your card issuing bank will place a hold on your debit or credit card for an amount of €100 up to €400 for incidentals during your stay. This hold will be released by the issuing bank three (3) business days after your departure. The amount held will depend on the property type:
- Villa – A pre-authorization of €400,- is held 1 day before arrival and voided 3 days after departure.
- Penthouse – A pre-authorization of €300,- is held 1 day before arrival and voided 3 days after departure.
- Apartment – A pre-authorization of €200,- is held 1 day before arrival and voided 3 days after departure.
- Studio – A pre-authorization of €100,- is held 1 day before arrival and voided 3 days after departure.
You authorise us to place this hold against your credit or debit card to guarantee any and all charges. In the event that you do not settle your account subsequent to your departure, you hereby authorise us to charge your credit or debit card or apply funds you have on deposit with us against what you owe.
Currency
Reservations will be charged in euros. Prices shown in another currency are based on today's exchange rate. Any currency conversion is for guidance only. Your card provider may charge a fee for foreign currency transactions.
Any deposits or pre-payments will be deducted from the final reservation invoice in euros. A refund of a deposit or prepayment, if applicable, will be subject to the exchange rate applied by your payment card provider at the time of the refund and may differ from the exchange rate applied at the time of the deposit or prepayment.
Smoking Policy
Limonero Vacation only offers non-smoking properties, although some properties may have designated smoking areas, such as a balcony, patio, or terrace. Designated smoking areas can be recognized by the presence of an ashtray.
A smoking penalty of €200,- will be applied daily if such conduct is carried out within the premises of the room or communicable areas in the building. If it is discovered after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to charge the guest's credit card or send an invoice to the registered address.
We reserve the right to take action against any guest found tampering with fire detection systems or firefighting equipment throughout the property or building. This includes detector heads in public areas and bedrooms, break glass points, and fire extinguishers. Guests who tamper with any fire detection or firefighting equipment will be charged for any costs incurred by the property or building as a result of their actions and may also be asked to leave. Depending on the severity of the guest's actions, the police may be involved at the property's discretion. If it is discovered after the guest has departed that firefighting or detection equipment has been tampered with, we reserve the right to charge the guest's credit card or send an invoice to the registered address.
Pet Policy
If you are planning to travel with your pet, we recommend that you confirm directly with the Property Manager of Limonero Vacation whether the property accepts pets. Limonero Vacation does not accept any responsibility for the pet policy at any property. Specific pet policies may require a damage/cleaning deposit at the time of check-in, which may be non-refundable.
Damage to Property
We reserve the right to charge guests for the cost of rectifying any damage caused by the deliberate, negligent, or reckless acts of the guest to the property or building. If such damage is discovered after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to charge the guest's credit card or send an invoice to the registered address. However, we will make every effort to fix any damage internally before hiring specialists for repairs in order to minimise any costs that the guest may incur.
Removal of Property’s Items
We reserve the right to charge guests for the cost of replacing any items that are removed from the premises without consent. The charge will include the full replacement amount of the missing item, as well as any carriage charges. Limonero Vacation is not responsible for any missing or lost items after guests' departure. If it is discovered that an item is missing after the guest has left, we reserve the right to charge the guest's credit card or send an invoice to the registered address for the amount.
Inappropriate Behaviour
It is the policy of the property that all our guests have the right to be treated with dignity and respect. As responsible hosts, we believe we have a duty to protect our guests from any inappropriate behaviour. If a guest's actions are deemed inappropriate by the Property Manager or if any inappropriate behaviour is brought to the attention of the Property Manager, the property reserves the right to take action against the guest after conducting an investigation into the allegations. Depending on the severity of the guest's actions, the police may be involved, or guests may be asked to leave the property.
Lost Items Guests
Limonero Vacation is not responsible for any lost or missing items after guests' departure. If we find any lost items, we will make every reasonable effort to locate the owner and return them. However, if we cannot locate the owner and an item is not reclaimed within 14 days of the guest's departure, it will be disposed of by the Property Manager.
Rate and Reservation Validity
Reservation confirmations are provided to guests solely for their convenience. Limonero Vacation retains official records of reservation transactions, including details of stay dates, room, product, and service rates. In the event of discrepancies, alterations, modifications, or variations between this confirmation and our official records, Limonero Vacation's official records shall prevail. Tampering with this confirmation to alter any room, product, or service rate or any other reservation information is strictly prohibited and will result in legal consequences.
Overbooking
In the event that a guest cannot be accommodated due to overbooking or unforeseen circumstances, Limonero Vacation will make an effort to accommodate guests, at its expense, at a comparable property in the area for the night(s) during which Limonero Vacation is unable to accommodate such guests. Additionally, Limonero Vacation will cover the cost of transportation to that property.
Guest’s Obligations
You agree to the terms and conditions imposed by Limonero Vacation, including additional services and products offered by Limonero Vacation. You also agree that you are fully responsible and shall pay for all charges, fees, duties, taxes, assessments, and other amounts arising out of your reservation when due, including additional taxes and fees that may not be included in the quoted rate.
You understand that any violation of Limonero Vacation's property conditions may result in the cancellation of your reservation. In such cases, you will forfeit any monies paid for the reservation, and Limonero Vacation will debit your account for any costs it incurs as a result of the violation.
By making a reservation with Limonero Vacation, you accept and agree to the relevant cancellation and no-show policy of the accommodation, as well as any additional terms and conditions that may apply to your reservation or stay.
The general cancellation and no-show policy can be found on our website, during the reservation process, and in the confirmation email. Please note that certain rates or special offers may not be eligible for cancellation or changes. In the event of a no-show or cancellation, applicable taxes will be charged. Before making your reservation, please carefully review the room details for any specific conditions.
Please be aware that a reservation requiring a down payment or prepayment may be cancelled if the remaining amount cannot be collected on the specified payment date, according to the payment policy and reservation terms. Late payments, incorrect bank or card details, invalid cards, or insufficient funds are your responsibility, and you will not be entitled to a refund unless otherwise stated in the payment and cancellation policy.
If you need to review, adjust, or cancel your reservation, please refer to the confirmation email and follow the instructions provided. Please note that cancellation charges may apply, and you may not be entitled to a refund of any paid amount. It is recommended that you carefully read the cancellation, payment, and no-show policy before making your reservation and ensure that any further payments are made on time as required.
External Services
The Limonero Vacation website, Social Media, Mobile Apps, or the properties at which you stay may advertise the opportunity to purchase products or services from independent third-party suppliers ("independent suppliers"), including, by way of illustration only and without limitation: Excursions, Yacht Charters, Wine Tastings, Private Classes ("external services"). The following provisions apply to all external services:
- All information on the website or otherwise communicated by Limonero Vacation regarding external services has been provided to Limonero Vacation by the independent suppliers. This information does not constitute an endorsement or recommendation of the external service by Limonero Vacation and is for general guidance only. Limonero Vacation does not make any representation or warranty, express or implied, as to the nature, quality, cost, or any other aspect of the external services. It is your responsibility to check all relevant details of the external services with the independent supplier prior to purchase or booking.
- Limonero Vacation acts solely as an intermediary, introducing independent suppliers. Your contract for any external services will be made directly with the relevant independent supplier, and Limonero Vacation does not have any other involvement in or control over the provision of external services. Consequently, Limonero Vacation will not have any liability to you for the warranties, representations, acts, errors, omissions, breaches, or negligence of any independent supplier, or for any accidents, personal injuries, death, loss of and/or damage to property, or any other losses, damages, costs, or expenses resulting, directly or indirectly, from your purchase or use of any external service, to the fullest extent permitted under applicable laws
It is your responsibility to check that, where appropriate, the independent supplier has adequate public liability insurance for the external service and/or to ensure that you and any dependents or associates using the external service have adequate personal insurance cover against all foreseeable risks.
Filming and Photography Policy
Commercial photography or video shoots are not permitted at Limonero Vacation without express written permission from the property management. Limonero Vacation does NOT allow any area of its properties (including all indoor and outdoor grounds and rooms) to be used for professional or commercial photography or videography. This includes, but is not limited to, Wedding, Engagement, Class, Family and Individual Portraits, Advertising Photography, Model and Fashion Shoots, Instagram, OnlyFans, Music Videos, Pre-nuptial Shoots, and Love Stories. Booking a suite at any of our properties does NOT grant you the right to use the room as a private location for your photography or videography.
Professional photography and videography will only be allowed if Management has given written permission prior to the shoot. All photography and videography requests will be reviewed and approved based on occupancy, availability, and content.
Guests may take non-commercial photography or video for personal use. All photographs and video should be taken from public viewing areas and must be captured with a phone or hand-held camera (non-professional equipment).
Limonero Vacation reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to withhold or withdraw consent to photograph and video the property and its surroundings. Photographs may not be published, sold, reproduced, transmitted, distributed, or commercially exploited in any manner. All trademarks, marks, logos, images, and facilities of Limonero Vacation are the sole property of Limonero Vacation and may not be used, reproduced, displayed, or distributed without written consent.
Intellectual Property Rights
‘Limonero Vacation’ has trademark protection. Any copyright and other intellectual property in the content and materials on the Limonero Vacation website remain with Limonero Vacation. Downloading, copying, or otherwise using any material on the Limonero Vacation website is permitted only for private use and limited to the sole purpose of making a Limonero Vacation reservation.
Force Majeure
Limonero Vacation will not be liable for any changes or cancellations of reservations that are caused, in whole or in part, by events, occurrences, or causes beyond the control of Limonero Vacation, its Property Managers, or Property Owners. Such events, occurrences, or causes include, without limitation, acts of God, terrorist activities, weather, strikes, lockouts, riots, acts of war, earthquakes, volcanic activity, ash clouds, tsunamis, fires, and explosions.
Limitations
Neither Limonero Vacation nor its Property Managers nor other providers of products or services related to reservations are responsible for communication malfunctions, failures, difficulties, or lost, stolen, or misdirected transmissions, messages, or entries, or the security of any such communications to the fullest extent permitted under applicable laws.
Furthermore, neither Limonero Vacation nor any other providers of products or services related to reservations are responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry information, whether caused by user(s), by any of the equipment or programming associated with reservations, or by any technical or human error that may occur in the processing of any information related to reservations. They shall not be liable for damages resulting from any of the foregoing to the fullest extent permitted under applicable laws.
Limonero Vacation may cancel or modify reservations where it appears that a user has engaged in fraudulent or inappropriate activity or under other circumstances where it appears that the reservations contain or resulted from a mistake or error.
Governing Law
These Reservation Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Málaga, Spain and the courts of Malaga shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any dispute in relation thereto.
